ophomores Gain Varsity Berths Inexperience hindered the Warrior round- ballers throughout the season this year as the F..H.S. Varsity won five and dropped thirteen. The Warriors dropped the Neligh and Seward road games and played the Genoa five in a thrill- ing 39-42 overtime game. The next home game found the Warriors over Tilden 60-49, but the Central City club fired back with a 38-63 win. The lVl.B.N. Tournament at Albion matched Genoa against Fullerton again and this time the Warriors won 42-35. The semifinals with Albion and runner-up spot proved to be the Warrior's undoing. The following three games after the tourna- ment failed to produce a wing but in a regu- lar season game with Albion, the Warrior quin- tet found the hoop for a 52-48 win. St. Edward went the way of Albion, but the Ord game had a different story. In a rough game with Schuyler the Warriors came out on top 62-50. The last games with Aurora, St. Paul, and Loup City, pitted the Warriors against three fine-shooting clubs who furnished three losses. Ron Jacobsen, Dan Gilson, Dave Christensen.
