in Commercial and Vocational Classes The vocational and commercial areas of study are designed in such a fashion as to give the students actual experience. In Home Economics and Vocational Agricul- ture the students combine both in-class situations and learning procedures with class and individual projects. The students studying in these areas learn how to use correctly the tools which are available be- sides the correct care of the tools. ln- dustrial Arts is another area which is closely related to the above-mentioned fields of study. In both beginning and ad- vanced woodworking the students study the tools, their use and care, and learn to take pride in the finished projects. The Commercial Department pro- vides for another area in which the stu- dents gain vast amounts of experience. Typing, Office Practice, Shorthand, and Bookkeeping are all offered to the stu- dents who wish to gain a working knowl- edge of any one of these fields.
