For the first time in F.M.H.S. history, F CLUB became co-educational this year. Girls were invited to join the club when they received competitive letters for their participation in inter-school meets.

This year the gymnastics team had a good year in competition, ending the season with one girl, Dayna Vermilyea entering state competition. Dayne was the first girl from FRUITA MONUMENT to go to state. This year was also the first year that the girls lettered; and so the girls are well on their way to recognition. 30
