S-5 DIVISION ,,4, - ,,,, ,, f Left to right SDC Terry SD1 Fuentes SD3 Serna, SD3 Viado, SD1 Gonzaga, TN I From her homeport, the USS FRONTIER sails to the ' mid-Pacific to extend her help to ships at Pearl Harbor, I Hawaii. As a break in the I routine task, every other Thursday of the month, she visits places around the . world. How could this be possible? If there is such a I thing as traveling by air, land, and water, then it is relevant to say that you can travel by food. With the resourcefulness and cooperation of the S-5 and Wardroom mess members, this was made possible. They took the international cuisine to the wardroom. Some of the places visited were Hong Kong, Phili- ppines, lndia, Australia, Germany, Rome, Egypt, and far off Russia. Everybody felt like they were there because of the atmosphere fincluding the musicj, tradition, and most espec- ially- the delicious delicacies. This is how the FRONTIER traveled around the world -- first of its kind in the fleet. Goodwork' S--5 members.
