While at sea, the combined efforts of quartermasters, radarmen, radiomen, and signalmen are re- sponsible for FRONTIEI-Vs safe passage from one harbor to another. The quartermasters assist the navigators in directing the move- ment of the ship from one port to another while the radarmen keep track of the move- ment of all craft within range of FRONTIE R. The signalmen are responsible for maintain- ing visual communications with all other ships in the area and the radiomen handle all other communications with both ships and shore stations. NE?
