Con- gratulations! I knew you would come through. I see that Ilene Ginardi has realized her ambition to become your private secretary. She always did have a good business mind. I have been scout- ing around trying to find out information about our class, and I thought I would write and tell you how the rest of our famous classmates of '56 are getting along. I suppose you read about Jerry Bork and Sharon Nenno? Jerry is playing his accordion for Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace next week. Sharon is a famous roller skating instructor at the Ritz Rink in Los Angeles, California. Virginia Brackett completed her Home Economics course and is now working in The Italian Gardens in Kansas City, Mo. Nancy Menghini is back at old F. H. S. teaching Home Economics and is also the assistant head of Home Economics Department at Kansas State Teachers College. Marvin Cicero and Carolyn Benedict are teachers at Kansas University. Carolyn is teaching English and Marvin is the head football coach. I heard the Jayhawks are headed for the Orange Bowl this year. Gary Epple is the head mechanic for the Ford Motor Company in Detroit, Michigan. Jet Ace, Jimmie McNeely has broken the speed record and is now trying to set a new one. A man who is making the headlines now is Frank Edwards. As you probably read, he has flown to the moon and reports a very exciting experience. Nora Ann Davis is following in her aunt's footsteps. She is now principal of Frontenac High and teaching mathematics. Mary Meeks was married on December 5th and is living on Winwood Drive in Pittsburg. She reports that she is very happy. Guess what? David Cooley got his ring back, but had to buy a more important one in the end. He is living in Arma and has three darling children. Third Baseman, Glen Gintner, is now the highest paid player in the history of baseball. His team, the Yankees, won the World Series this year. Bernie Onelio signed a contract with the Philip 66 Oilers. This was a big thrill for Bernie as it was his life ambition to play basketball for them. Wilma Swift and I have an apartment in Florida. We really like airline work. Right now I am home on vacation for two weeks. Wilma is on flight from Florida to Los Angeles, and will have to take her vacation later. Larry Setina is the pilot for our plane and is also one of the leading pilots for T. W. A. Well, I am sorry but I have to close this letter now because our family is going out to dinner. When I go back to Florida maybe Wilma and I will get to come to New York on a flight. I will be looking forward to seeing both you and Ilene. Love, Margaret Ann Senior Class Will We, the Senior Class of l956, being of sound mind, level headed, and stout heart- do hereby bequeath our worldly possessions, this being our last will and testament. Paid the taxes so we could read, Helped the teachers to plant the seed of education--THANKS Without our folks, where would we be? They opened our eyes so we could see, And now we their posterity, for good or had--THANKS They groan, when from home we shrink, And then, when it wasn't done in ink, They said, "You never stop to think". And they were right so--THANKS. But after all that strife and pain, To prove it wasn't all in vain, We would express this thought again, Thanks Mom and Dad--THANKS Without you, dear parents, We could never attain the goals toward which we are striving We here-by wish to dedicate this our 1956 RAIDER to you.
