Another Successful Track Season The boy's track team kept up the good reputation of Friendly again this year. The distance events were fortified by Kenny Bassett and Greg Yannekis, to name a few. Tom Van Lierde boosted the team with his outstanding achievements in the sprints. The team suffered when a few of its members developed stress fractures from a poor track. A new track will be constructed during the summer since the old track was ruined due to a poor drainage system. The injuries were unfortunate but in the end helped to strengthen the team.
