By attending workshops and seminars, the editorial staff began with an outline of what needed to be done. We had a big class and everyone knew the ins and outs of yearbook business. Starting right away, we decided upon a cover design and began work. Section editors were picked and each layed out their section following the theme, Faded Glory. Copy was written, edited and typed. Dummy sheets were drawn, finals finished and everything was put neatly in a box each deadline day. tUnfortunately, the paragraph above may describe some staff you know, but definately not ours.J Get your layouts off my section and give me that cropperf' Frances- you have India Ink all over your desk - and I know who did it - tee-hee-hee. Denise, can we just forget the junior and Sophomore sections? All I have left is twelve pages of cap- tions - Hey jimmy! We have four spreads that need pic- tures. Keithie - can you have some ready by next period? Hey! Weezy's got another Playgirl - get the scissors out!! We argued and fought, forgot and mis- placed, but through it all, worked very, very hard to give you what you wanted. The test is not whether your picture appears on every other page, but whether the book will serve to jar high school memories ten or fif- teen years from now. I'd like to thank Mr. Ewing, Mr. Bailey, the yearbook staff, my parents, my teachers, and anyone else that had to be around me during deadline time. We hope that you will enjoy the book.
