:ART Luffy Williams is another one of Friendly's poets and artists. Paula Durbin demonstrates that ceramics doesn't end with flower pots. The skill in the arts which exists at Friendly frequently goes unnoticed in all the fervor surrounding the school's athletic feats. But the students of the arts continue undaunted, content in their role of quiet excellence. Many awards, honors, and citations have been presented to gifted Friendly artists. Many plan to continue working in the arts as a career or at least a hobby. 206 ! KALIEDGSCOPE Hello-Goodbye You know how good it is to see Someone you haven't seen in awhile. The laughing, the joy, the happiness, The beauty of a smile. One of the many outstanding needlecraft students, Linda Lee, shows that there is a lot of work involved in making a blanket.
