Home- coming is the returning of alumni to their home of past memories, which most alumni might agree, Were the good old days! Toward mid October until November 13th, the excitement and thrills of Home- coming rise. The traditional Homecoming dance is only part of the big, gala celebration. There are hard working classes who spend weeks planning and constructing their floats. This year each class was given a wall to deco- rate for the dance. Another novelty was having boys on court. EFQIJI-Wa UU W x if Did you know that it takes 396 light bulbs with 1500 watts each to light the football stadium? That's a total of 593,000 watts, as many as the lights used at each night game. The lights will be used by all high schools in P.G. county this year. Next year the field is expected to be used only by the Southern region of the county, according to Mr. Gough. Two other schools, one in Central and another in the Northern region of Prince George's will be getting lights next year. The lights ran up a very large bill of SB250,000, plus the 57.50 per hour that it costs to run them. These expenditures will be paid off by the organizations who use the field.
