The halls seem longer, the water foun- tains seem higher and the work seems harder than any you've been used to in the past. You worry about pleasing your teachers, who you're going to sit with at lunch and stand with in the lobby and most of all g keeping cool. Coming back as a iunior is not quite as exciting. You still have the seniors to worry about, but things have settled down a bit. What differ- ence does it make if you let a little homework slide? The real height of status is walk- ing into Friendly as a Senior. You feel like you own the place. No one's bet- ter than you are. ln a few months you'll be walking out of the doors with twelve years ot education under your belt and your whole life ahead of you.
