The Fremont Dees captured the SCVAL league title with a fantastic 14-O ledger. The Dees featured an explosive offense and a tenacious defense enroute to an unbeaten season. The Dees placed Don Lawson and Rene Retuta on the first team all-league while Doug Lee was voted MVP of the league. The Cees posted a dismal 7-7 log. The Cees played a controlled type of offense and relied mainly on playing a tough defense. Chip Wheatly took all-league honors. The Frosh was led by Ron Pritchard and scored a 9-15 record. The Frosh ended their league in second place.
