Peer Counseling first aim of A B
As the student body aimed for recognition of
its changing and maturing ideals. the
General Assembly voiced its concern for the
improvement of the Associated Student's
finances, activities and involvement in the
student community. Perhaps the most
important topic discussed during Council
was balancing the budget, as the assembly
and chairmen attempted to work together to
solve finance problems. With respect for
ever-increasing needs of its student body,
the General Assembly began plans for the
Peer Counseling program, a newly devised
program, where students are trained to help
other students with personal and school
problems.
