The Thirries gave coach McGhie his 'firsi' league championship in his fhree years as Thirfies coach. They had only one refurning player from last year's second place feam. Of course 'I'his player, Len Pirmaria, has been very in- sfrumenfal in 'I'oping fhe res'l' of fhe loop.
