The season started slowly for the B u c ks but picked up when they took th e Falfurrias game after Fal's star halfback was declared inelegible. Highlights of the season were the SintonVictory on the Pi r at e s home field, the B u c ks great play in losing to Alice, and the bi- district play-off game with Mission. This marked the thir d season for Coach Moss as head mentor. Principal Elton Bohmann was named as line coach and also did some scouting. Robert Turner,a Sam Houston T eache r s product in his first year of coaching, did a splendid job helping with the "A" team, s couting , and in guiding the "B" squad throughan undefeated season.
