As this year draws to a close, we face the aware- ness that we will soon be adults and must, as well- equipped, educated adults, attempt to solve the prob- lems of the world, To this end we study the situations of today in P. O. D. While we sometimes goof off' in trig, we learn to solve the mathematical questions that we will encounter. In ma- chine shop we work with with our hands, for physi- cal labor as well as mental labor is needed to cope with world problems. As we, in our caps and gowns, prepare for Commence- ment and to face the future, we can remember that these four years, rich with mem- orable experiences, have conditioned us and trained us for our future work: na- tion and world leadership. sixteen
