STUDENTS PAUSE, SEE
REFLECTIONS OF 1971
Gazing into the looking glass of school life, students
saw reflections of the year 1971. The year was fleeting,
the students busy. Having no time during the year to see
clearly, students saw distorted images of people, places
and things. Students were hurrying to class, rushing to
a ball game or cramming for a test. Going, doing, plan-
ning, students were caught in a hustle bustle of activitiy.
Such images were temporary and fleetingg they could
only be remembered. .
The year passed. Then there was time, time to think,
to remember. Vision cleared, images became vivid.
Students realized the importance of the smiling face, that
unknown name. From puzzling images came clear re-
flections, reflections of people and action.
