WONDERFUL WORLD OF TEACHING When we finally reached Frankton High school as a freshman, we were ready to be grown up and we thought we could take on anything. However, when we are finally ready to leave Frankton we seem to find ourselves a little scared and not so grownup as we thought. Throughout these years of high school, opportunities and life couldn't be ours without the guidance, caring, and friendship of our teachers. PHIL ABERNATHY; an Alexandria, IN native, graduated from Ball State and came to Frankton to teach Algebra II, Geometry, General Math and is ass't Baseball coach and Reserve and ass't Football coach. DAVID BARTLOW; business major from Ball State, teaches Typing I 'II and Bookkeeping I. He grew up in Anderson, IN and is the sponsor of the Senior Class. CALVIN BAYLEY; A new face at Frankton that grew up in rural Anderson, IN and attended An- derson College teaches Biology and is Varsity Basketball coach and FCA sponsor. NED BOURKE; Physics, Electronics, Tri- gonometry, Analysis, and Junior Class Sponsor is this Indiana State graduate, Terre Haute, IN na- tive's job at Frankton. LARRY CANADAY; Purdue University graduate who grew up in Frankton and teaches Biology, Adv. Biology, and Chemistry. OTIS CRESS; is Alexandria, IN born, Anderson College graduate and teaches English Litera- ture I and III, also he's head wrestling and ass't Football Coach. RUTH CULP; Junior Class Sponsor who lived in Midland, Mich, as a girl and graduated from Anderson College and now teaches Spanish I II, and English Literature II. 17
