Pest Control Drive and Local Grain Judging Besides their everyday class work and participation, Ag boys aided in try- ing to control the destructive rodents that plague local farms. The boys worked hard, as they invaded the secret domains of disease carrying birds and rats. Agriculture students Larry Norris and Dick and Doug Hendricks placed first in the area with their exhibit of ear corn. Mr. Gordon Kerkhoff, in- structor, also took the class to area farms where they learned better quality in animals and grain. Senior Gary Cunningham illustrates to the Agricul- ture class the different numbers of certain types of cattle. Junior Agriculture students Ron Wright and Gary Gillespie listen as Mr. Kerkhoff gives the assignment to the sec ond year class.
