Pointing at the rating system in judging to senior Mark Wiggs, is Agriculture instructor Mr. Kerkhoff. Frankton students enrolled in Agri- culture learned many useful things that they will be able to use in the near fu- ture. Current methods and trends in crop production, and up-to-date meth- ods of handling and rearing livestock were the major things the classes studied. The Frankton Ag department was honored for all its hard work, when the sheep judging team placed first at the State Fair. Homemaking eventually comes to most girls, and the F.H.S. Home Economics classes help to ready a girl for this de- manding career. The courses, taught girls the art of cooking, sewing, and of being a gracious hostess. The girls also were involved in Child Care classes, and Home Nursing courses, all of which are important in the running of an efficient household. Ag Team Places First at State Fair... Capturing a first in sheep judging for Frankton at the State Fair in August, were Ag boys, Vic Murrah, Ronnie Sigler, Dallas Canfield and instructor, Mr. Gordon Kerkhoff.
