At the beginning of the year each student deposits some money on his equip- ment. If he doesn't break anything, he gets his money back, but that'spretty hard to do. Freshmen girls who are e n r 0 l le d in home economics learn the fundamentals of cooking, sewing, and serving. As each girl advances in her studies and takes other years of this course, she natur- ally learns to do different things such as home nursing, child care, interior decorat- ing, and advanced sewing and cooking.
