There ' s Burt again, trying to find one ot Mr. Rose ' s mistakes. Burt, with his blond hair, blue eyes, shy (or is it sly) grin makes him especially appealing to the opposite sex. ACTIVITIES: Basketball 1; Student Courier 1; Class Play 4; Driver Ed.; Yearbook Staff 4; Best Actor 4; Drama Festival 3, 4. NELLO PETER BASSIGNANI Satch Virtue: Happy-go-lucky nature. Ambition: To graduate. Usually Found: With Susan. Pet Peeve: Cheerleaders. Strong and content, I travel the open road. Tall, dark, and hand some—Nello is our class tease. He can be counted on to liven up a dull period with one of his zany re¬ marks. Being the carefree type, worries never assail him—least of all homework. DOROTHY BALDYGA Dottie Virtue: Neatness. Ambition: To have a happy marriage. Usually Found: With Jimmy. Pet Peeve: Tardiness. Virtue is its own reward. Dotty is our three D girl—dignity, demeanor, and Drowne. Her neat appearance distinguished her in our class. Dotty never appears to get ruffled—another quality for which she is admired. MARILYN ANN LONGOBARDI Longie Mai Virtue: Sincerity. Ambition: To understand love and life. Pet Peeve-. Dean girls. Usually Found: Laughing. O world, I cannot hold thee close enough. Studious, dependable, cheerful, friendly, and a hundred other adjectives describe Longie. Being our most versatile girl, she is liked and admired by everyone. She is a tireless worker for all school activities and is always willing to help everyone with his problems. Without a doubt, Mai is the biggest success of our class. There she goes flashing her brilliant smile and walking with ambitious steps. Yes, it ' s Mary Carty. She ' s probably on her way to the office to work on the books. Through frequent use of Cartye- sian mathematics. Mary has done a meritorious job as class treasurer. Indeed, her future success will only be paralleled by the future success of the Cleveland Indians. JEAN FRANCES BERTONI Jeanie Virtue: Cuteness. Ambition: Dental assistant. Usually Found: With a certain Dean boy. Pet Peeve: Losing football games. What is the worth of anything but for the happiness it will bring. Whenever looking for vim, vigor, and vitality cail on Jean. Always full of pep and energy, wherever Jean is, fun is not far behind. JUDITH ELEANOR BERNDT Judy Virtue: Pleasing personality. Ambition: Teacher. Usually Found: Newberry ' s. Pet Peeve: Sarcastic remarks. Silence at the proper season is wisdom, and better than any speech. Judy has always been willing to help our class in any way she can and her aid has not gone unnoticed. BLANCHARD Fireball Suppressed Desire: To become rich overnight. Amibition: To be¬ come a pro hockey player. Usually Found: Down at the establish¬ ment. Virtue: Good nature. Where seldom is heard a discouraging word. George ' s unusual sense of humor and happy-go-lucky manner have gained him many friends.
