Favorite Saying — “Honest! !” Bobbie’s neat appearance and dewy complexion will certainly enhance her nurse’s uniform when she fulfills her ambition. One of the things Bobbie treasures is her Killer Kowalski autograph. It is evident that Bobbie has a yen for the unusual and for travelling. ACTIVITIES: Prom Committee 3. WILLIAM APPLEBY “Billy” “Willy” East Central Street Virtue—Sense of Humor, Ambition—To own a “60 white Thunderbird, Usually found—Pool Parlor, Pet Peeve—School, Suppressed Desire—To meet Annette Funicillo, Favorite Saying—“You animal!!” When Bill is around you certainly know it. Billy is well liked for his offbeat sense of humor and witty remarks. With his gay personality and ability to get along with others we are sure he will succeed in all he undertakes. DONNA M. ALLARD 17 Orchard Street Virtue —Curley Hair, Ambition — College, Pet Peeve — Working, Suppress¬ ed Desire —To be happy. Favorite Saying — Really? Donna is a most cheerful member of the class. She has won many friends with her winning personality and smile. Her artistic ability has been a great help to us. Donna’s pretty curly hair and neatness will always be remembered. Donna can usually be found with a group of Senior girls laughing and having a good time. You can always be sure of a cheerful “Hi” from Donna when you enter the A P. OFFICERS TREASURER RITA ANNE SHARKOWICZ “Sharkey” 189 School Street Ambition—To go to Business School, Pet Peeve—The Irish who are always bragging, Suppressed Desire—To own a 1960 White Thunderbird with Red upholstery, Favorite Companion — Johnny. Rita has been our capable treasurer for the last three years. She is one of the best looking and best dressed girls in our class. Her dry humor and many quips have kept her friends laughing throughout high school. With her experience as a leader and her friendly disposition, she should have a bright future to look forward to. ACTIVITIES: Class Treasurer 2, 3, 4, Basketball 1, 2, Oskey 1, 2, Yearbook Staff 4, Prom Committee 3, Driver Ed, 3, Bowling 4, Badminton 1, 2, 4, Volleyball 1, 2, 4, Grand March 3. We all realize Nancy’s outstanding achievements in the past four years as a fellow student and tireless worker for us. But, above all, we will remember her as a good friend. Her contributions to the success of our Senior year form a long list for which she can be justly proud. DONALD ARCARO “Mr. A” 130 Cottage Street Virtue—Curly black hair. Ambition—Become a Civil Engineer, Hangout — Roslindale Square, Favorite Companion—Donald Bertone. The students of F.H.S. don’t see Donald around town very much but if you happen to be heading through Roslindale, keep a sharp lookout for him. Civil engineering is your ambition Don and with your nimble fingers you’ll soon be on the road to success. HENRY BARDOL Hank 227 Union Street Virtue — Eyes, Ambition—To go in the Navy—Pet Peeve — School, Suppress¬ ed Desire—T obe a millionaire. Favorite Saying — “Never” Hank is one of our up and coming photographers. Beside he is a fine addition to any gathering where his witty remarks are a source of entertainment. If his plans materalize, Hank will become a Navy recruit upon graduation and it is quite probable he will rise to undreamed of heights. Eventually he may even become an admiral. ACTIVITIES: Camera Club, Glee Club, Driver Ed. 4. JANICE BASSIGNANI “Bug” “Dice” 185 Wachusett Street Virtue — Smile, Ambition—To be an Airline Hostess, Pet Peeve Waiting for letters, Suppressed Desire—November 17, 1960, Favorite Saying— “Surer Janice is one of Franklin High’s most attractive girls. One never sees Janice without a smile on her face and because of her good nature, she is liked by all her classmates. If Janice can’t be found, we know that she must be trying to talk her way out of something, that s Dice. ACTIVITIES: Badminton 2, 4, Volleyball 2, 4, Driver Ed. 4, Prom Decorating Committee 3, Yearbook 4, Oskey 1, 2, 3, 4.
