One never knows what to expect from her as she says the first things that come to mind. Sally is noted for her wide vocabulary and nonconformity. RAYMOND ANTHONY D’AMELIO 250 Wachusetts Street Ray” A 20th Century Cavalier” A follower of all sports events, Ray can tell you just about anything that you want to know about this subject. He was a vital part of our Football team and his spirit and ability make him a great competitor in all school sports. Socially gay and enthusiastic, she enters into the spirit and co-operation of all class activities. JESSIE DAVIS 285 Grove Street Jess” A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance” Jessie has two main interests—reading and Jazz. These two items make up most of her spare time, as you can usually find her either listening to her records or reading a good book. But that’s not saying she isn’t happy and full of life, because for a good laugh, just find Jessie and you’ll have it. She always has an ample supply of clever remarks and delivers them at just the right time. No one can be serious when she’s around. JOHN CATERINA Fisher Street Life is for living, not existing.” We never see too much of John, but when he is around, his quiet friendliness is always welcome. He will be remembered for his willingness to help his fellow classmates. Among his favorite pastimes are hunting and fishing. EDWARD CHISHOLM 15 Orchard Street Chis” Chissy” Silence sweeter is than Speech” Chis” is one of the quiet boys in our class. That is, until you get to know him. Then you will find that he is full of fun and he is also witty. One of Chis’s” interests is Scouts and you can usually find him discussing some Scouting activity with Bob. ANTONIA MARIA CIANCARELLI 47 Summer Street Toni” God is with those who persevere.” Toni is the brain” of our class. She excels in all her subjects and possesses great musical talent. Due to Toni’s studious nature and perseverance she deserves all the success that comes to her. BERNARD COLELLA Union Street Bernie” Quietness is a rare virtue ivhich few possess.” When you see a boy with black curly hair, in the corridors, it’s probably Bernie. His hair is one of his best points. He is a very quiet member of our class, and also a nice looking member. He likes to work with cars, and he can be seen doing just that at one of the local garages. He has a wonderful sense of humor and his abilities include pantomiming, accordion playing, acting. He has a great talent for ad-libbing. Disty” will never run out of his funny antics. MARIA JOAN DILEONARDO 65 Alpine Place A friend loveth at all times.” Our candidate for Miss America is Maria. She is one of the prettiest girls at Franklin High. When you get to know her, you find that she is a good friend, and we’re sure Myrna will agree with that, since she and Myrna are the closest of friends. Her love of people and self-dedication to anything she considers worth-while should make her a success in her chosen field. Any time we ever needed any art work done, Ron was ahyays there to offer his services and his work was always great. His ideas were original and his accomplishment of them amazingly ingenious.
