Peppers, Timers, Twirlers
perform service roles
Bridesmaids to other school activities were the serv-
ices performed by Pep Club, Maiorettes, and Timers.
Pep Clubbers provided the loud voice of the sports pro-
gram. Early in the fall they organized to plan an excit-
ing year in support of the school's sports teams. Assem-
blies in the Lecture Theater provided poster and vocal
competition for the three classes, the one- cheering loud-
est receiving a trophy "drum" for the week.
Maiorettes performed their artistic and musical
leadership before the Marching Band during football
season. Stopwatches in hand, Timers clocked in their
swimmers during the many dual meets of the winter.
Pep Club sponsor Mr. Martin advised sign painters Denise Theisen,
Andrea Gordon and Jan Klos labovej. With Jan in the background, Jan
Koski, Dave Martinez, Bunnie Dollins and Dan Zedan prepared signs
Qrightl to decorate the Lecture Theater for a big rallv.
