1968 Aqualite talents perform
synchronized reflections
"Reflections" was the theme of the l968 Aqualite
swim show. Club members wrote, directed, and per-
formed original routines depicting memories of the past.
Narrator Crys Premo, in the guise of an elderly woman,
reflected on her childhood, college life, and the swinging
done to the music of
"The Impossible Dream" climaxed the show.
Charleston Era. A candlelit finale
An extra touch was the addition of modern dancing
to fill between-number gaps. The Modern Dance Club,
under the supervision of Mrs. Fran Smith, performed two
numbers and was a definite hit with the audience.
Churchill's gain was the Aqualites' loss as Miss
Carolyn Benninger transferred to the new high school.
"Miss B", who had sponsored the club since its origin,
was replaced for the '69 season by Miss Nancy Wares.
