return to relate post-high-school experiences Many Alumni took time out during Christmas to attend the annual Alumni Tea sponsored by the Senior Class. Whether they came from ci service base, school, or from work, each person attendingenjoyed spending the afternoon with old friends, relating new experiences. October's Homecoming offered the chance for Alum- ni to return in a more formal atmosphere. A football victory in the afternoon, coupled with fine dancing in the evening, added another memory of high school.

Co-op work, Ben's Corner both get the business Every day of the week there's a working relation- ship between Franklin and the business world that serves a mutual benefit. Franklin students, mostly Seniors, who were enrolled on the Co-op program, spent part of their time in regular school classes, another part of their time receiving on-the-job training in retailing, office work, or industrial employment, both for credit and pay. Supervising their work, attendance, and progress were both employers and school teacher-coordinators.
