They have worked continually on problems concerned with the consolidation of the thirteen schools in the district, increasing enrollments, increasing cost of operation, along with other problems. The closing social event was a swim party at the YMCA with the Hi-Y members. Two representatives of the club went to National Tri-Hi-Y camp. The year began with an informal "Get-Acquainted" party, an initiation and an interest- ing visit to the New York Modeling School. In the meantime, the members are planning for a big year of entertain- ing programs, parties, trips and dances. LIBRARY The jobs performed by the student-librarians are many and varied. During the spring semester we have engaged in many activities. We have photographed our sporting events, our school, and our friends. BOYS' PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB The Shutter-Snappers were o rganize d for boys interested in photography. During the meetings, we dis cus s the taking, developing, and printing of pictures at home. The school dark room and equipment were made available to the club. In the future we plan to take some field trips. MUSIC APPRECIATION CLUB This group was organized late in the year but has covered quite a lot of material such as: opera, listening to records, discussing stories of opera heard, seeing pictures.
