This season was a hot and cold one for the Cubs, marked by overtimes and heartbreaks. With returning lettermen - Jewett McGlocklin, Ralph Ramsey, and James Williams, Senior start- ers-John Nash, Jerry Miller, Bob Woods, and John Cameron, and Junior starters-Bud Jones and Frank Friedersdort, the Cubs showed great determination and fighting spirit in their games. After a hard-fought 7-l3 season, sudden death came to Franklin in the Sectional when Green- wood dropped them 55-5l. This year, tor the tirst time in history, Franklin had a Pep Club and the beginning ot a flash card section. And, in order not to disappoint the fashion-minded tans, the Cubs sported red, white, and blue striped suits.
