THIRD ROW: Doug Bielot, Philip Joullian, Larry Slade, John Bartholomew, Moustapha Zikri, Jesse Drain, Gary Dougherty. Saccez Flashing feet, deft maneuvering and jet-like speed, sparked on the surface field. Time after time, the Eagles Eleven drove the dancing yellow ball down the field to victory. Franlcfurt's forward line, captained by Hans David, relentlessly moved the ball through the oppos ition's defense toward the goal. The basic strategy employed bythe Eagles offense un-it was the W attack. The defensive line led by the center fullback, Jim Tillman, busted up the attack of the opposition before it could gain momentum. Whenthe ball did get through the defense line Goalie Bill Adams was there to stop the ball with his flying blocks and spectacular saves. Through the brilliant coaching of Mr. Bombard and the close cooperation of both the team and managers, Larry Slade and Steve Carlson fsecond lefty, the Frankfurt squad successfully completed its second year withadisplay of skill and power. l i W 4
