38SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS: Presideni, Karen Russell; Vice-President, Pam Ezell; Secretary, Mary Finn; Treasurer, Martha Young.
When the Senior Class returned to the halls of F.C.H.S. for their final year, they realized that the days behind them had gone by quickly. It was hard to realize that the class of "77" were now Seniors, since it seemed only yesterday that they were Freshmen. Though they were momentarily saddened, they were happy to see the progress of their class and the imprint they made at F.C.H.S.
Debbie Russell was chosen Homecoming Queen; Laura Knapp, Maid of Honor; and Kendra Little, Lady in Waiting.
Senior Class officers chosen for the year were: Karen Russell, President; Pam Ezell, Vice-President; Mary Finn, Secretary; and Martha Young, Treasurer.
Realization that they would soon enter the adult world and be making important decisions about their futures came to Seniors this year. Wanting to be out on their own and yet at the same time reluctant to leave, they tried to grasp each moment as it came but succeeded only in making their year unforgettable.

54JUNIOR CLASS OFFICERS: Treasurer, Pam Harrum: President, Nancy Hogg: Vice-President. Lisa Ruzich: Secretary. Terri Roe.
As the class of '78 began its third of four years here at F. C. H. S., time seemed to pass more quickly than in previous years. As Juniors, the excitement of their first prom and ordering class rings were two of the responsibilities of being an upperclassman. The Juniors built up their class fund for prom by selling candy and concessions. Also, many were required to take college aptitude tests, such as
the ACT and PSAT tests, in preparation for their future years.
The Junior class chose Valeri Sloan and Melinda Farley to represent them in the Homecoming Court. This year's officers were: Pres. Nancy Hogg; Vice-Pres. Lisa Ruzich: Sec. Terri Roe: Treas. Pam Harrum; and Sponsor Mr. Don Rice.

159As the 1977 REDBIRD Annual comes to a close, we, the members of the staff, would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who helped to make this yearbook a success.
First, we would like to thank our photographer, Mr. Tim Rissi, for his time and patience in helping us complete this annual. We also wish to thank Mr. Bill Blewett of Taylor Publishing Company; Mr. Borton, the faculty, and the administration for their cooperation and understanding during the production of this annual. Finally, we would like to extend a special thanks to our advisor, Mrs. Hellen Mary Batts, for her guidance and assistance.
Without the help of all these people and the help of our fellow annual staff members, the 1977 REDBIRD Annual might never have been a reality.
