When the Senior Class returned to the halls of F.C.H.S. for their final year, they realized that the days behind them had gone by quickly. It was hard to realize that the class of "77" were now Seniors, since it seemed only yesterday that they were Freshmen. Though they were momentarily saddened, they were happy to see the progress of their class and the imprint they made at F.C.H.S. Debbie Russell was chosen Homecoming Queen; Laura Knapp, Maid of Honor; and Kendra Little, Lady in Waiting. Senior Class officers chosen for the year were: Karen Russell, President; Pam Ezell, Vice-President; Mary Finn, Secretary; and Martha Young, Treasurer. Realization that they would soon enter the adult world and be making important decisions about their futures came to Seniors this year. Wanting to be out on their own and yet at the same time reluctant to leave, they tried to grasp each moment as it came but succeeded only in making their year unforgettable. 40Allen, Robbie Arview, Kathy Baker, Roberta 41Buckingham, Robin Butler, John Caraway, Tami Cash, Roger Castrale, Linda Chance, Ronda Chastain, Keely Baker Collier, Robert Conaughty, Elizabeth Connors, Jim Craig, Harold Cremer, BethDavidson, Jeff Davis, Annette Davis, Kelly Dent, Donna Dewar, Marvin Dimmick, Maxcy Downard, Alan Duff, Jill Dutton, Kathy Essick, Brad Etters, Scott Ezell, Pam 43Finn, Mary Fleck, Richard Freeman, Colin Gass, Randy Giles, Scott Glodich, Mark Glodich, Mike Glover, Linda Golio, Richard Gosnell, Laura Green, Gary Griffith, Jim 44Grounds, Doug Hall, Cheryl Hancock, Jeff Hehner, Walter Hewlett, Rex Hogg, Lisa Hodgson Hood, Susan Hooker, Dena Jackanicz, Andy Joplin, Martha Julian, Brian Karnes, Robert 45McDaniel, Tammy McLain, Brad Meadows, Rodney Midkiff, Kay Minton, Jim Moore, Doug Martin, Beth Matheny, Pam May, Jeff Melvin, Laurie Melvin, Mary Alice Michalic, Mark 47Murphy, Greg Mutchek, Susan Neal, Kevin Oberst, Cindy Patton, Greg Pike, Sandra Presley, Wendell Prusaczyk, Mark Reimer, Karen 48 Russell, Debbie Russell, Karen Sakonyi, Theresa Sanders, Karen Saul, Anna Broy Saulsbury, Julie Seagle, Derek Sharknas, Mary Shepherd, Scott Skinner, Greg Skuta, Randy Smith, Greg 49Smith, Kelly Smith, Ted Smothers, Paula Spain, Cheryl Spain, Paula Spurgeon, Jack Stanley, Gail Sullivan, Jim Tate, Diana Hinkle Tefertiller, Dawn Testory, Julie Tharp, Greg 50Tinsley, Connie Valeo, Deanna Vancil, John Wilburn, Roger Wilburn, Ron Wilkinson, Julie Williams, Andrew Williams, Neal Williams, Susan Wallace, Danny Webster, Rick Wilburn, Kendra 51Williams, Scott Wilmore, John Winter, Stan Witkewiz, Pete Woods, John Woolard, Jeff Wyant, Diana Baker Young, Martha Not Pictured Austin, Garland Bernhard, Lisa Bozic, Jeff Brotherton, Tim Campbell, Bruce Caraker, Dennis Clements, Terry Davy, Dan Dial, Paul Hamline, Tammy Herrell, Lonna Huite, Tina Kahl, Pam Pugh McClellan, Joe Morgan, Dan Morgan, Dennis Null, James Poole, Ramona Ridgeway, Rocky Robinson, Bill Sloan, Jim Wescott, Mary Woolsey, Eric 52ALLEN, ROBBIE - Redbird Annual 2, 3, 4; Red Peppers 1; Chorus 1; Office Worker 2, 3, 4. Lisa Ruzich: Secretary. Terri Roe. As the class of '78 began its third of four years here at F. C. H. S., time seemed to pass more quickly than in previous years. As Juniors, the excitement of their first prom and ordering class rings were two of the responsibilities of being an upperclassman. The Juniors built up their class fund for prom by selling candy and concessions. Also, many were required to take college aptitude tests, such as the ACT and PSAT tests, in preparation for their future years. The Junior class chose Valeri Sloan and Melinda Farley to represent them in the Homecoming Court. This year's officers were: Pres. Nancy Hogg; Vice-Pres. Lisa Ruzich: Sec. Terri Roe: Treas.
