The hard work of the memhers of the chorus cahinet had much to do with the consistently fine work of the various groups. and another large portion of praise is due the hrilliant direction of Miss Belle Longhons. For the enjoyment of the entire student hody, thc mixed chorus "sings its way" through two wonderful concerts each year. One comes at Christmas time and ties in heautifully with this joyful season. This pro gram is hegun with a candlelighted procession moving slowly forward to the front of the auditorium and softly singing "Uh Come All Ye Faithful." This sets a per' fect atmosphere for the rest of the program. 'l he com- plete programs ol' these concerts are not sung hy the entire chorus, hut portions are sung hy the smaller groups-the ensemhles. These are composed of chorus memhers whose voices hlend especially well together. This group adds Ll most pleasing variety to the pro- grams. To add to the pleasure the chorus receives through entertaining others. the cahinet. with the help of Nliss Longhons. each year plans a tour to follow the spring concert. llc praise our "singing students" of l7.C'.ll.S. for the magic ol' these performances throughout the year. ,, he 5 M Q Uswuff 'ff ' ,., u Q 'v V V if 4 QE M ,,, Q l, 1.
