KRAM Under the supervision of station founder and manager Ralph McKee, KRAM has grown into a full-fledged AFRTS radio station. Twenty- fours a day, KRAM kept up our morale with the latest music, sports, weather, and news. ETN2 Bruce Smith, FTMl Steve Morrison, and FTM2 Ken Denton were volunteer maintenance engi- neers. Pre-recorded shows by Roger Carroll, Wolfman Jack, and other big name D.J.'s filled much of the broadcast day, but local program- ming was the most popular. There were dozens of volunteers but the most regular shows were done by R.W. McKee, Country Donnie Bas- kette, Stan Maroon, Steve Morrison, Charlie Betz, Danny Perna, and Brother Don Peter- son. Together they provided a balanced blend of top 40 tunes, C and W, oldies but goodies, and progressive rock. . Perhaps the most popular show on the air, however, was a weekly talk show during which the Capt. answered questions phoned in by the crew. . . .- . ,.: , .
