COMMISSARYME The duty of supplying the crew of FOX with three square meals a day falls directly upon the shoulders of chief commissaryman James Campbell. In fact the three squares became five during the line periods off the coast of North Vietnam with the addition of a Soupdown between the noon and evening meals and midnight rations f were also available for those men 0 a late watch. They are also responsible for the cleanliness and preservation of the officer's living spaces. The wardroom meals are always of the finest caliber for the stewards believe that good chow makes for happy officers and happy officers result in a happy ship. Our stewards have also shown themselves to be fine sailors as they man many emergency battle stations during general quarters.
