wc beat the M1541 out of 5D.7S0,N!! F or the first time in 5 years, we beat the 'Ml-SE!! out of EDISON . .. 2 minutes left in the game . . . Edison snatched the lead, 24-21 . . . dashed were the hopes of many FV fans . .. Ohhh ... Not again this year . .. It's not fair! . .. We deserve to win. . . . so we did . . . Varsity jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter . . . Edison bounced back to tie . . . threatened, the Big Blue showed their might and moved ahead, 21-14 . . . a field goal by the Chargers ended the half with the Barons 21, Chargers 1 7 . . . Edison had been forced to stay behind . . . 'This is too easy . . . Miracles don't happen this way . . . the crowd watched restlessly as the third quarter ticked by with no score . . . suddenly, Edison was up by 3 . . . only 2 minutes left in the game . .. Come on! You can do it. . .. the fog rolled in, and . . . when it lifted g. .. Edison was knocking on the door again . . . the cheering became hot, anguished, a suffocation roar . .. the Chargers were on the one . . . the crowd was on its feet . the hike, uick handoff .. . FUMBLE! . . . the game is ours! . .. a chaotic celebration prevailed . . . we won 28-24.
