han e In Splrlt Fountain Valley was lucky this year to have such fine pepsters. Cyndee Crozier headed up the Varsity Yell Leaders, Yvonne Wada, Janet Seybert, Ginny Weber, and Barbara Rice, who were always there cheering the Varsity teams on to victory. The hours the girls spent before the student body at games and pep assemblies were only surpassed by the hours they spent practicing prior to the opening of school and then after school. All this practice showed in their form and vigor, for this year's Varsity Yell ranked among the best Fountain Valley has ever had. The girls won many awards at com- petition including a first place ribbon in State Competition at Redlands. Of this, Fountain Valley can be proud. Another honor for the girls came when they won a second place trophy in National Competition. It's no won- der the girls look so proud and happy when they are doing their job, because they are some ofthe best Yell Leaders in the country.
