Although the girls team did not win as many matches last year as the year before, the interest and enthusiasm of the team was certainly good. This year promises to be a better year with all singles players returning. Several of the matches that were lost went to three sets, which indicates some outstanding tennis. The Best Record in singles was Sheila Raposa. The best record at doubles was Kathy Agner and Suzanne Clark.

Last year's H ve returning starters and eight returning lettermen showed their experience with the new teammates by plac- ing fourth in P.P.L. The Trojans ended the season with a 9-5 record. The Trojan 's last double header against St. Mary's was cancelled due to Held conditions. The Trojans could have been in a possible play-off position with those two needed wins. Receiving honors were Richard Christian, all conference Hrst team outfield, and Mike Miller, all conference second team infield.
