I IHA The FHA ofhcers are Virginia johnson Secretary Jessie Crutcher, President, and Kisha IIIEAIIQNIINIIE ANI IEIIQIUMVIINIE The Future Homemakers of Amer- ica Chapter for 1985-86 began the year with co-sponsoring the annual Fash- ion Show in October. Also that month we attended the Pikes Peak Region Fall District meeting. There the Mem- bers participated in workshops and became further acquainted with the functions of FHA. The winter district meeting was in February and there we became aware of the activities that would take place at the State Conven- tion in April which was held in Den- ver. This has been a year of doing several school and comm unity pro- jects and having a lot of fun. Carson football team started out A the season with a victory over Salida. It took long hours of practice and hard work to A maintain the skills that they used to achieve their Q goals. The intensity of the players was strong and 5, powerful. The coaches accurate decisions on plays brought the team to many wins. The precise accuracy of the teams' winnings brought them to 4th place in state ranking at a record of 5-0. When the team was down on the scoreboard, the spirit was always high on the sidelines. The jv team Hnished with a Hne season, undefeat- ed at 6-0. Another one bites the dust!
