I IHA The FHA ofhcers are Virginia johnson Secretary Jessie Crutcher, President, and Kisha IIIEAIIQNIINIIE ANI IEIIQIUMVIINIE The Future Homemakers of Amer- ica Chapter for 1985-86 began the year with co-sponsoring the annual Fash- ion Show in October. Also that month we attended the Pikes Peak Region Fall District meeting. There the Mem- bers participated in workshops and became further acquainted with the functions of FHA. The winter district meeting was in February and there we became aware of the activities that would take place at the State Conven- tion in April which was held in Den- ver. This has been a year of doing several school and comm unity pro- jects and having a lot of fun. I ANI Band members had numerous opportunities to entertain people with their music. During the past year band was very active. They participated in the Labor Day Parade at Fountain, the Apple Blossom Parade in Pen- rose, The Fall Festival in Engle- wood, The Air Force Academy Band Day, and three field shows at home football gaems. Students who were included in the Pikes Peak Honor Band were jefffordahl, Craig Crawford, Chris Barela, Paul Barnes, Deana Stom, Karen Schroeder, Alex Brown, De- lores Haines, Richard Bowen, janet Palmer, Richard Miskho, and Ted Donahue. janet Palmer was a mem- ber of the Adams' State Honor Band, and Alex Brown was a mem- ber of the all city band. The jazz Band gave a concert in November, and the Symphonic Band played in concert in De- cember- Andy Wilson tickled the ivory at the Fall concert. Back row IL to Rj: Brian Aubin, Mike Steczo, RJ.
