IDIDUC The Area Vocational Program, ad- ministered by Pikes Peak Comm unity College, is designed to serve high school students in all public schools in El Paso County. Twenty-Hve voca- tional programs are offered to enrich the education of each participating student. Through the positive peer pressure, we hoped to help alleviate the drug and alcohol abuse by young people today. Alternate activities could be found. I-'or example, there were square dances, game nigh ts, group activities and seminars. Several students have attended work- shops on drug and alcohol abuse and how to help their peers. The purpose of FCA was to present to athletes and coaches, and to all whom they influenced, the chal- lenge and adventure of receiving jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving HIM in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church.
