IDIEEA 'UN W lI'II MUUWI Distributive Education Clubs of America IDEC.-42 is a national organi- zation for students with career objec- tives in the fields of marketing and distribution. Fountain Ft. Carson stu- dents belong to the South Central District-Colorado DECA. Students participate in various dis- trict and state career development conferences where they compete in competency based events. DECA co- sponsored with FHA the annual fash- ion show which was presented to the student body as well as the general public. Overall DECA gives its members the chance to excel in the world of business and provides them with a first hand experience of job related education. IBSIU: MAIIKIINIE WIIHIE IDIIIFIFIEIIQIENIZIIZ The purpose of the Black Student Union was to unite the minority of Blacks. Another purpose was to unite Black students with the rest of the school. The whole purpose ofthe club was to keep Black students involved in school activities, and to keep them in touch with what's going on with other students, also what's happening around the school. It was a great aspiration that this will be a successful year for the club. Not only in school activities, but also in the community.
