Members were chosen by a selection committee based on the four branches of NHS: academics, leadership, char- acter, and service. The purpose of NHS was to uphold the these four ideals and to promote academics and scholarship. Toward the end of each year, NHS sponsored Superstars, a field day competition be- tween the classes. llllflflf EIIQMMXNS Any person who has lettered at ?' gg? FFCHS, whether is be in sports or ZW in band, may be involved with the Letterman 's Club. The main project that Letter- man 's Club was responsible for was to organize Parent's Night for all Fall and Winter Sports. This year the club members had an interesting experience when they held a Christmas party for the handicapped kids at Lorraine Ele- mentary. IBSIU: MAIIKIINIE WIIHIE IDIIIFIFIEIIQIENIZIIZ The purpose of the Black Student Union was to unite the minority of Blacks. Another purpose was to unite Black students with the rest of the school. The whole purpose ofthe club was to keep Black students involved in school activities, and to keep them in touch with what's going on with other students, also what's happening around the school. It was a great aspiration that this will be a successful year for the club. Not only in school activities, but also in the community.
