Pride Holds Team Trojans sharpshooters consisted of eight seniors, three juniors and one sophomore. Sophomore, Todd Turner played for Junior Varsity and Varsity basketball teams prov- ing his outstanding abilities as a basketball player. The juniors on the team held the team with support for their many victories throughout the season. Leadership came from the seniors. All seniors supported the team with spirit when games were close and handed out experience to the under- classmen on the team. They also proved a fine example to the future Trojan basket- ball players and left them very big foot prints to follow in. Coach Pat Kane and assistant Evan Dal- rymple boosted the team with spirit and gave the guidance they needed to become a winning team. The team support not only came from the Coaches of the team itself but from Trojan fans, faculty and parents. Boys Make A Hundred The second time in school history one hun- dred points were scored against another team was achieved by the Fountain-Fort Carson Boys 1983-84 Basketball Team. With a highly confident attitude the Trojans received a first place trophey in Sub-Districts and ended the leagues season with a record of 9-2. A lose at the middle of the season to Flor- ence put the Trojans at an upset. The last game of the season was also an upset for the team, a last second short by St. Mary's left the score at 44 for the Trojans and 45 for the Pirates. lt didn't take much for the Trojans to ride high again. The first Sub-District game came easy for the team with a victory against Fountain Valley 175-522. The last two victories came glorious to FFCHS against St. Mary's 154-521 and Florence Q43-411. With three straight wins the basketball team received the first place trophey in the Sub-District games taking them to Weld Central. The Weld Central District game didn't come easy. The first half was close with the Weld Central Rebels matching everyone of our bas- kets. With a fierce second half, the Trojans kept a safe lead to record another victory.
