BSU Unites Students The purpose of BSU is to bring unity to the black minority, to study black history, culture and problems and to encourage blacks to participate in more school functions. BSU helped to spon- sor the Fall Fashion Show. Many members helped to set up and run the show. Others selected the models. BSU's motto is To believe is to be strong. The emblem is a black fist and the cqlofg are red, black Officers, QL to Rl: Vice President Jerry Hogan, President Darwin Thomas, and Secretary Cookie Jones used their sparkling personalities to help unite many stu- dents this year. and green.
