As a part of the Homecoming week, the students and faculty did what they do best, feud. With the theme for this year's Homecoming being We are Family what could be better than Fountain-Ft. Car- son's first family fued. It was run by Student Council with Evan Dalrymple as the announcer. On September 27, 1983, the show down was on to see whowas tops between the sophomores, juniors, seniors and faculty. After round one only two of the four remained. The seniors defeated the hard fought faculty, and the decision had been made. After three explosive rounds with survey questions including name a planet asked, the seniors had remained vic- torious. , , A ' The sophomore team was headed by Renee Kayser with members: R.J. Steer, Jessie-Crutcher, Richard Bowen, Dawn Surface, and Christine Warkins. Lead- ing the junior class was Glenda Daniels with: Al Marcy, Yondrick Bailey, Claudine Hendrix, Kerstin Smith and Cynthia Harrison. Richens Smith lead the senior team of: Jerry Hogan, Stephanie Watkins, Jer- ry Hunt, Tim Daley, and Jackie Steczo to victory.

QUEEN: CHERYL JOHNSON A Spirit Filled Evening The evening started off great as the Trojans had a double overtime victory over Weld Central. Halftime entertain- ment included a presentation of candi- dates on classy convertibles. The an- nouncing of the King and Queen and the crowning ceremony were the highlights. KING: CLAYBORN HAYNIE Cheryl was a three year varsity Letter- man Cheerleader, Junior Attendant, Prom Princess, and a member of the 1983 Grand Champion cheerleading squad. I feel privileged that the class of 1984 elected me for this honor. Clay- born was a three year football Letter- man, two year Letterman in track and basketball, Senior Class President and Prom Prince. QUEEN CANDIDATES QL to RJ: Karen Vasquez, Wanda Turner, Linda Mus grave, Laura Senko, Essie Crutcher and Cheryl Johnson.
