WE ARE HERE TGDAY FOR TOMURRGW Upper left clockwise: Howard Walker and Linda Leuer were crowned Prince and Princess of 1979 lunior-Senior Prom. Karen Longee and Victor Walker lead the royalty dance as Queen and King of the '79 prom. Teresa Kelling in the star role of Molly Brown, listens intently as Tim Tallent, staring as Iohnny Brown, sings of his love for her. Roseanne Castillo stares at memories that will forever be imprinted in her mind. Alicia lenkins, Tammy Smith, and Monique Kays show how exhausting a girls track practice can become. Girls track practice shows psychological struggle as Lorraine Morgan, Barb Lash, Debbie Ruckmich, Karen Butler, and Mavis Gibson get ready for Districts. Rita Gonzales, Debbie Dowdy, aml Garry Lovern exhibit Sophomore strategy and strength and also have fun in the 1979 Superstars Competition. Fountain-Fort Carson High School unities from two separate Iunior High Schools. As both student bodies join together new friends are made every day of the school year. With more than three-fourths of the students being connected to the military, old and well known students leave as new faces appear to once again start the Ftn.-Ft, Carson cycle of ever renewing SPIRIT.
