When the Class of 1954 first entered Fostoria High School as seventh graders we were perhaps a little frightened of the years ahead until graduation. But always we found that no matter what our troubles were, the faculty was there to help us. Each teacher has had an important part in our growing up. We have been taught the fundamentals of education-the part you get from books -but even more important, the faculty has taught us to be better citizens of tomorrow, to get along better with our fellow man, to realize our mistakes and try to correct then, and to learn the meaning of iustice and discipline. Now for the first time, we realize that our teachers won't be there to patiently guide us after graduation, but we will always try to remember what each of them has taught us We say thank you to the faculty for being such an important part of our lives un the hope that they will be proud of the way each of us uses their teachings to better ourselves in the years to come.
