We all were such studious persons . . . at least we were keeping up appearances. Remember those Wonderful Fridays when there were football or basketball games? Re- member on the following day when you were looking for a lost voice? Oh well, that was the fun of it. Remember those unforgettable times after games, Iunior and Senior Prom, Senior Dance, Iunior Dance . . . We could go on for hours. These memories never seem to mean so much until you find they Will be ending soon. The Red and Black Annual staff has comj piled these memories together in this year's Red and Black annual. We hope this me- mory book Will help remind you of the Class of l948. Y 'Wk y x , . A V . ' 4 .M -..vwfi.rf ia. lhulivalion Remember the man who ambled down the hall with a smile on his face, never in too much of a hurry to stop and talk with a student? Remember the same man who would sit for hours and counsel any fellow who was in a "tight spot?" Remember the bioloqy teacher who explained and re-ex- plained until the light struck? Remember the one who understood when you told him you were just completely tired of school, that time you were feelinq low? Because of our me- mories of him as one of the grandest men We know, we, the class of nineteen hundred and forty-eight, would like to dedicate our year- book to Mr. W. W. Nixon. We'll always re- member him as one ot the best.
