ADMINISTRATION The Superintendent of schools and the Principal of Fostoria High, responsible to the people of Fostoria through the Board of Education, manage adminis- trative situations and student problems. Through them the students are given opportunities and the standards of our schools are elevated to the highest degree. Many times throughout the school year, a student finds that he needs per- sonal guidance and vocational advice. The deans, with patient understanding are always ready to help him solve this problem in every possible way. The harmony of the school is depend- ent upon the united spirit and efficiency of the entire administration.

RED and BLACK ANNUAL 1942 WE DEDICA TE Before this spring is over, several of the faculty members v i be leaving their positions to become a part of the armed forces that defend our country. Many of the boys of the Senior Class, having abandoned their plans for college, will join the army, navy, marines, or air corps. To these courageous young men who are so willing to offer their lives to their country, we especially hope that this annual will be a pictorial review of our school year, and we, the class of 1942, dedicate this yearbook to them.
