This view and the individual pictures will recall the closing year that sent us, upon graduation, on our separate ways. Thus, through the lens of our eyes, we shall renew acquaintance with classmates and revive cher- ished memories and ever increase pride in our Alma Hater. TODD THOMAS MORRIS l,ft'Sl.l1t'lIl of the Senior Class The task of directing and co-ordinating the efforts of the Senior Class was placed on the shoulders of Todd Morris by the official count on the voting ma- chine. The success of the yearis projects proved the capabilities of Todd as a leader. He extended his in- terests into other channels such as the homeroom vice presidency for two years. membership in the Student Council. and varsity sports. In the last named field. he played tackle on the football team for three years. He received honorable mention on the SUNDAY IN- DEPEXDEXT All-Stars. Wrestling found Todd giving his best during three seasons. On THE RED AND WHITE staff he contributed to the sports column. All this Todd accomplished for his Alma Mater without fanfare. His classmates learned that. beneath the quiet. unruffled surface of his pleasant disposition. there surged a tremendous amount of energy which found an outlet in teamwork with his fellow athletes and in service to his class and to the student body as a whole. Class Leaders PHILIP HOWELL EDMUNDS President of the Sturfenl Council Those who know Phil regard leadership and depend- ability as his greatest assets. The capable manner in which he performed the tasks of the Student Council presidency was one measure of his ability. However. Phil did not limit his interests to presiding over the scho0l's largest extracurricular activity. He displayed great skill in wrestling, bolstering the team for four years and serving as co-captain in his senior year. As a sophomore and again as a junior, he filled the office of class vice president. The student body. on two occa- sions chose him the Student of the Month. His mem- bership in the hunting and fishing club indicated clearly his fondness for these outdoor hobbies. The crowning achievement by Phil was his scholastic record which placed his name on the honor roll of senior high at the close of every marking period. Success did not mar Phil's calm dignity nor the true humility of the gentleman that he is. Thus. Phil has fulfilled the high expectation of those who judged him worthy of the American Legion Eighth Grade Award. - W Q-95" 1-an is My ...uff,w,..a ' , ' ' " ' W. ,., ,K .il .6 9 Q? It is impossible to adequately thank our hard- working and faithful advisors, Miss Stack and Mr. Williams, for the tre- mendous contribution they .have made. Without their help and co-operation this yearbook could not have become a reality. Much credit is also due Miss Lorraine Rice for her helpful suggestions. There are so many others who deserve recognition that we cannot begin to name them all. We can merely hope that they will understand how grateful we are. Again we say, "Thank you."
